FAQs

What do I wear to class?

Something comfortable, that will allow you to move freely. It is also recommended that you don't wear too much heavy or noisy jewellery 

What if I’m not very flexible?

You do not need to be flexible to do yoga; flexibility is a bi-product of yoga and not its main purpose. It is one of the most common misconceptions that prevent people from coming to classes. However you will see an improvement in your overall flexibility through consistent practice

Should I eat or drink before I come to class?

Make sure you are hydrated before class and be sure to rehydrate afterwards too. Come to class on an empty stomach, don't eat 1-2 hours before class

What if I have an injury or condition that might affect my ability to participate?

Always check with a healthcare professional before starting any new exercise and inform the teacher of any medical conditions prior to starting the class. This will allow us to help you modify your practice if necessary 

What if I am pregnant?

As with any new exercise it is not recommended that you take up something new whilst pregnant. However, if you have been practicing yoga regularly (for at least 6 months) then there is no reason not to continue as we offer specialised Pregnancy Yoga classes

What if I am too old?

You are never too old and every body is welcome 

How old do I have to be to start Yoga?

16 years and over
